Siebel Business Applications Release 8.1.1.10

Oracle just released siebel version 8.1.1.10 . You can download this from edelivery cloud.


Hope that this version will be a solution for all issues that we faced in previous version (8.1.1.9)

    Hi Prashant, do you see any difference/advantages with .10 in comparision to .9?

      Yes Shiv,
      There are lot of advantage of using .10 version. Because this version introduces new facility like repository merge.
      Another important factor is that this version contains may fixes for the bugs raised in .9 version. I feel .10 is more reliable and stable when compared to .9

    Hi Prashant
    We upgraded to siebel 8.1.1.10 and found that some eim columns which are used to populate foreign keys are disabled in this version. In my case it is EIM_ACTIVITY.EMP_EMP_LOGIN and EIM_ACTIVITY.EMP_EMPLOGINDOMAIN which populate EMP_ID in S_ACT_EMP by EIM_ACTIVITY.
    also I am not able to activate these columns/mappings from tools. Do you know any solution to this? I am using these two columns to assign owner to a activity using EIM.
